RSS News Feeds

RSS stands for 'Really Simple Syndication', and is a way of getting updates about information you're interested in (e.g. Cancer Control Council Publications) without having to regularly check the Cancer Control Council website.

Instead, you use news reader software that regularly checks the Council's news feed(s) for you to see if there are any news updates. It displays the updates as a list of links to the website so you can select what updates you want to view. Using news reader software you can subscribe to as many RSS news feeds on as many sites as you like.

More information on how to subscribe to and use RSS feeds using news reader software can be found on the BBC news website.
